In honor of marriages and that today is Valentine’s Day, I want to share with you for a couple of days 50 ideas for a healthy marriage. Here we go:
- Start each day with a kiss.
- Wear your wedding ring at all times.
- Have a date night. (Every two weeks if you can, if you have children – once a month.)
- Accept and celebrate your differences.
- Be polite.
- Be gentle.
- Give gifts.
- Smile often.
- Touch, it’s one of the simplest and most healing things you can do for your spouse.
- Select a song that can be “your song.”
- Give back rubs.
- Laugh together – A LOT! (You need to learn to laugh at yourself just to be a healthy person both emotionally and physically.)
