Evil Doing It’s Thing!

and I’m begging you to pray and continue to pray without ceasing. It all began in Gen. 3, by it I mean evil. Evil/sin and all the other words that you want to call it entered the world through Satan’s temptation and break down of Adam and Eve. Immediately, it – sin was passed on to their children, when in Gen. 4, Cain killed Abel, his brother because of his evil heart. Evil has grown from that time until now. In the history of the world, we’ve seen some very evil and dark times. Men and women doing things that are almost beyond our imaginations. And in today’s world, the evil is still causing us to shake our heads, cry out for help and try to find ways to get it to stop. My Friends, I have some bad and truthful news. Evil will not end because we make laws against it. Evil will only be able to be overcome when we let Jesus Christ reign in our hearts, and we pass on to the people around us his love and his grace. The truth of Jesus must be spoken and lived out in our lives. We can’t let another day go by without us setting our hearts and minds on the things above and take them off this earth. Jesus set it all straight with his sacrifice on the cross, but friends, we must surrender to his will in our lives and from there begin to show people Jesus.

It means we’ll have to get into the word and see how he has called us to live. We will have to deny ourselves to the lies of Satan about this world, that this world is the answer. NO, it is not! The only answer is Jesus. We are going to have to get back into community with each other and start praying for the power to love even when it hurts, to share even when we just don’t think that we can and to give when we don’t think we have anything more to give. This world is evil and evil will continue to make it’s mark. It’s time for the church to go to it’s knees and ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit so that we can help Jesus take back his children that are lost. We need to pray today for eyes open to touch people’s lives with the message of Jesus. Don’t wait another day! PRAY FOR POWER AND OPPORTUNITY!
