It’s important, essential to pray about what God has laid out for you, not just for your day, but for your life purpose. A person that has come to the realization of God’s purpose for their lives is a person that is finding the peace and joy that this life was made to experience in Jesus Christ. That doesn’t mean that life will be peaceful or just joyous and happy things that happen to us, but that because we know who we are and what our purpose is we can live every bad situation with the knowledge that by living our purpose we will come through the dark days and hard times. People that know their purpose have prepared themselves to answer God when he asks us “What we did with his Son, Jesus?” It won’t be about the church we went to, or the religious leaders that we followed, it will be about our faith and trust in His Son Jesus Christ. That’s our purpose, not to become famous or live the dream of easy living, it is did we follow Jesus. Secondly, what did we do with what God gave us? He has given us all talents and gifts; he’s given us situations to let his light shine in our responses and decisions about how we handle them. He has given us opportunities through the good times and the hard times that come into our lives. He’s given us energy, friends and family that we can decide to use for God or to use for ourselves. The pray today is that we take the life he has given us and live it for his purpose. What’s your purpose? Ask him to reveal it and then pray for the strength and courage to live it.
Know Your Purpose!
