Praying for the Nudge

It’s time to think about what you are going to do for Easter? I don’t mean what Easter basket are you fixing for your kids, or what will you fix for lunch, what will your Easter outfit look like, no none of those things are what I’m talking about. I’m talking about you getting serious about telling people around you about Easter and the forgiven life that Jesus is offering to them today. At Easter season you have the best time to feel the nudge of Jesus to listen to people about their lives and move with your life and words to show and reveal to them Jesus. You have 4 weeks now, to pray for God to give you a nudge on who you should be inviting to celebrate Easter at your church, with you as you truly celebrate the resurrection of the man Jesus. I really think that you ought to be practicing your celebration dance all this week. Work on how you plan on celebrating when you get together with the body of Christ this next week at your church and begin celebrating the resurrection of a man that came back from the dead after he had paid the price for all mankind’s sins. What’s your dance moves going to be? How are you praying this week for God to do miracles around you so that you will feel the nudge of Jesus to tell someone about Jesus, to tell them about the celebration that is going on even this next Sunday at your church. Let’s start praying today for people that you can invite to celebrate with you about the resurrection of Jesus. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be writing about the nudges and the people that need to experience Jesus’ spirit and promise of forgiveness. But this week we’ve got to start with ourselves, praying that we will look like we believe it ourselves. Living like we’ve repented of our sins and are on a road of peace and love. Let’s pray that our eyes are open to people that are in our paths, on our streets and at where we work that are hurting and need someone to listen to them, so that God can speak to them. Let’s pray today for our hearts to begin to open up first to God and then we’ll work on what we are to do next. Pray today for open eyes and hearts.
